How do OUR PBL SERVICES work?
Level 1 SESSION
LEVEL 2 SESSION
ONLINE FORMAT
Level 1 SESSION
3 days with other educators at our fabulous instructional learning center in West Michigan, food (including lunch) and beverages are provided
Learn from our expert PBL facilitators as well as in-depth discussion and collaboration with other educators
Experience classroom-ready activities to incorporate into your unit/project
Explore and incorporate ideas in whole-group learning and activities, small group discussions and protocols, and individual building and planning time
LEVEL 2 SESSION
Build upon your existing PBL trainings and experiences (for teachers who have already attended a PBL training, ours or otherwise)
2 days with other experienced PBL educators at our instructional learning center in West Michigan, food (including lunch) and beverages are provided
Refine existing and construct new PBL units with collaboration, feedback, and support from both your peers and our facilitators
Experience more classroom-ready activities and protocols to incorporate into your next unit or project
Develop deeper community connections, broader cross-curricular reach, and richer project facilitation
Implement your projects with on-demand support (virtual meetings) for a full school year (no extra charge!)
ONLINE FORMAT
Kickoff each week with LIVE 90min virtual sessions (4 weeks total)
During live sessions, participate in activities and discussions with other educators
Leave each session with practical strategies and targeted feedback
Between live sessions, navigate 2-3 hours of self-paced content and incorporate strategies and feedback into your planning
Meet virtually with our expert coaches for 1:1 support, brainstorming, and feedback
(Available for both Level 1 and Level 2 sessions)
What will you learn AT OUR PBL EVENTS?
- Learn 3 PBL frameworks that include components for a successful project
and steps to plan and implement. - Explore many examples of PBL projects across all grade levels and content areas.
- Experience over 15 different PBL protocols and strategies for collaboration, feedback, project management, and more!
- Build a complete PBL unit/project with collaboration and feedback.
- Implement projects and units during the year with on-demand support from our team.
