WHAT IT IS:
A reflection strategy for changing (flipping!) challenges or concerns into actionable steps
HOW IT WORKS:
Often used for complex task or project reflections as well as for restorative classroom culture or interpersonal tension situations. Create a 3-column chart labeled “Fears/Challenges”, “Hopes”, and “Actions”. First, in the fears/challenges column, list and briefly describe the leading concerns. Next, in the hopes column, rewrite those concerns as hopes. Finally, identify at least one hope to brainstorm possible actionable next steps and select the most immediate to list under actions.
