DESCRIPTION: an AI-powered research assistant that functionally serves as a tool for organizing information and insights on particular topics (called “Notebooks”). This Google tool is designed to help users summarize, analyze, and synthesize information from many source types (books, articles, websites, videos, PDFs, etc.). Uploading a resource gives the Notebook the ability to create artifacts like summary documents or podcast discussions on the resource to better learn about and understand the content.

Interact with the Notebook (AI agent) to ask follow up questions and deepen understanding. Share generated artifacts with students to provide learning resources in multiple formats.

COMMON USES: teachers take a complex topic or text (ex: the geopolitical turmoil leading up to WWI or a scientific journal article on a topic or Shakespeare) and generate a brief podcast-like discussion between two AI personalities to help familiarize students with the topic as they learn or read.
