Create a Plan (Preview)
Create a Plan
PREVIEW NOTE: The following is the final reflection task that course participants are asked to do. This task encourages teachers to compile the ideas, tools, and strategies they learned during the course and put them into action. Participants are given multiple formats in the course organizer document by which to complete this task, noted below.
In this course, we covered some basic terms and examples of artificial intelligence. You learned how AI can help you increase your teaching productivity. You also learned how AI can help your students with their learning and creativity and explored tools to use in your classroom. You also learned about ethical topics involving AI use for students and how you can guide your students to understand these tools and increase their digital literacy and citizenship skills around the many AI and technology tools in the world today. Now we’d like you to create a plan for integrating artificial intelligence into your classroom. In your digital packet, there are three graphic organizers for you to choose from and capture how you will use AI to benefit your productivity/workflow and your students’ learning.
- Organizer Option 1 is arranged in a more linear structure; listing the tools/ideas, how you can apply them, and the benefits each will provide.
- Organizer Option 2 is a more visual reflection of the tools and their benefits.
- Organizer Option 3 is outcome-based. Use this organizer if you would like to focus first on the outcome or desired result (essentially orienting your plan around the benefits instead of the tools).
Choose the option that works best for you, or feel free to complete all three.
