WHAT IT IS:
We may produce more creative outputs when we work with creative people. Collaboration can boost our creativity and that of our students.
HOW IT WORKS:
When people are led by a creative leader, their creativity tends to increase. Interestingly, the leader doesn’t necessarily have to actually be more creative than others, they simply have to believe they are creative. So, to boost your students’ creativity, you can:
- Work on your own creativity – the more creative you feel, the more creative your students will be. One way you can work to improve your own creativity is to keep a dream diary.
- Recognize your highly creative students and give other students ample opportunities to work with them – working with creative students will boost your students’ creativity.
