Elementary School Teacher in grades 1, 5 and 6 for 13 years. Responsible for creating lesson plans, assessing student learning, and professional growth goals. Attained Bachelors in Elementary Education and Masters in Curriculum and Instructional Design from Michigan State University
Elementary Principal
Elementary School principal for Glenn Loomis Elementary School (seven years) and Willow Hill Elementary School (six years). Both schools were 400-500 studetns with a mixed demographic from identified at-risk students, talented and gifted, special needs, and English as a Second Language. Responsible for managing building finances, focus and school improvement planning, staff evaluations, professional development, student events, discipline and parent liaison contact.
